The 2nd suffering phase is due to an inflammatory response, when the main reaction is acute injuries on the nerve fibers. Conolidine injection was observed to suppress both the phase 1 and a pair of suffering response (sixty). This means conolidine successfully suppresses each chemically or inflammatory pain of both an acute and persistent nature.
